Katie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Cloud State University, and her Masters of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota. She is a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licenses Professional Clinical Counselor, and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy to provide evidenced based practices to individuals with trauma. Katie’s experience includes working as a therapist doing outpatient mental health therapy, a case carrying counselor at NUWAY 3Rs IOP, and as a manager at NUWAY II residential. She has a specific interest in grief and loss, relationship issues, mood and anxiety disorders, and women’s issues. In her free time, Katie likes to travel, bake and cook, read, spend time with family and friends, and watch her favorite sports teams.
