Janelle has been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) for over 9 years, serving in roles such as clinician, clinical supervisor, and program manager in co-occurring disorder treatments. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and became licensed as an LADC in 2015. Currently, Janelle is pursuing her master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services, with the goal of obtaining her Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure.
Throughout her career, Janelle has worked with a variety of populations, including adolescents, adults, and individuals with significant criminal justice involvement. With more than 5 years of experience as a program manager, she is also certified as an LADC Supervisor by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy. In 2023, she was honored with the Clinical Supervisor of the Year Award from the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH).
Janelle currently serves as a Governor on the MARRCH Region 7 Board and chairs the ethics committee, where she advocates for LADCs in public policy forums. Outside of her professional life, Janelle enjoys photography and spending time with her cat.
