Alyssa has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Studies, Communication and Global Studies from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She later received her Master of Arts degree in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies and obtained her LADC license. She plans to continue working towards her LPCC while at NUWAY. She enjoys working with people in a collaborative manner, meeting them where they’re at and challenging core beliefs with clients. Her clinical interests include, the impact trauma has on all areas of life and relationships, developing self-awareness and ways to practice balance in life with self-care. On her time off, she enjoys hiking, traveling and being with family and friends.
