NUWAY® assures our clients, guests, staff and friends that the safety of our community is our highest priority. We value education, prevention, and data-based decisions. Currently, we are continuing daily operations and clinical care at all NUWAY programs within the best possible safety parameters. Therefore, NUWAY has taken the following steps:
1. Formed a COVID-19 task force to supplement its infection control committee.
2. Implemented hand hygiene protocols in accordance with guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
3. Limited business-related travel to essential trips only.
4. Continues to monitor all pandemic developments and follow recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Minnesota Department of Health and The Joint Commission to ensure that NUWAY programs are as safe as possible.
Quality treatment and recovery success is grounded in therapeutic connection. With people dying from addiction-related causes each day, we can’t slow down our work toward fully accessible treatment services and overall systemic change. NUWAY is committed to working closely with its affiliates and referents to ensure that our clients continue to receive services during this challenging time.
